Dr. Shetty started this organization in the year 1978 with a vision to provide quality dental equipment to the Indian dental surgeons. In the initial years, he toiled hard with the primitive manufacturing technology that was available in that period.

History
Confident’s inception aligns with the growing demands of Dental and Medical science in our country, aiming to enhance healthcare accessibility. Evolving from a vision to a leading manufacturer, we continually adapt to industry needs, expanding our footprint in the healthcare sector.
1978-88 Beginning and Growth
In 1978, Dr. Shetty founded the Organization to supply top-notch Dental Equipment to Indian Dentists. Over a decade’s perseverance led to a milestone in 1988 when it transformed from a Partnership to a Private Limited Company, marking significant growth in Dental Equipment manufacturing.
1988-98 Diversification
In 1995, the company expanded into manufacturing Medical Equipment, including Electro Hydraulic OT tables, OT Lights, and ICU Beds. These products earned recognition as top-quality offerings in the Indian market, serving as notable imports substitutes.
1998-2008 Launching Confident Sales
Confident Dental Equipments Ltd. expanded its horizons. Since then, it has consistently progressed, producing an extensive array of advanced Dental, Laboratory, and Medical Equipment. This marked the inception of Confident Sales India Pvt Ltd.
2008-18 Expanding Further
In 2009, Confident Dental Equipment Ltd. pioneered the implementation of
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in Dental and Medical equipment manufacturing, setting
an industry standard for enhanced efficiency. The company boasts one of India’s largest
manufacturing facilities spanning 2.25 lakh Sq.ft in Bidadi, Bangalore, supported by a
workforce of over 600 employees and 15 branches nationwide. Technical training for
engineers, featuring key companies like NSK, FKG, DUERR, HELMET ZEPF and MIS.
2018-Present Innovatiion & Growth
Mr. Rakshith Shetty assumes the role of COO. During the lockdown, Team Confident expressed gratitude for the support in fighting COVID-19. They prioritized duty over personal safety, contributing medical equipment to combat the pandemic.
